In 2009, Lindsay moved from Abbotsford to Calgary to help young people run their businesses successfully. Over several years, Nathan and Lindsay planned to start a Calgary branch of Abris. Finally, in 2014, they created Abris Construction Calgary based on the concept of service to property managers for the Calgary market. In the ten years since, we have seen great demand for the services that Abris Construction provides, and we are excited to expand our helpful, cheerful and knowledgeable service to new property managers in the coming years.

Lindsay lives in Calgary with his amazing wife, Gillian, and their daughter & son. In their spare time, they ski/snowboard, camp, hike, play board games, and travel.

Nathan has done "business things" for almost twenty years now. Starting out as a painting franchisee in university, becoming a trainer/coach/consultant within that same organization, and finally opening and co-owning Abris Construction with his parents.

A deep and ongoing love of business, processes, and how to improve the customer experience while helping people drive everything that Nathan does in both Abris and his life.

Due to his passion of both architecture and the construction process, Mike attended SAIT and attained a Architectural Technologies Diploma and a BSc. Construction Project Management. With the knowledge gained from these courses and related work experience, Mike started his career with Abris in 2017. In his free time he enjoys hobbies such as hiking, fishing, kayaking & hunting.

Dustin started part-time with Abris in 2017 and has since transitioned into a full-time production manager after completing his BBA at Mount Royal University in the spring of 2019. He previously operated a student painting business during his summers away from school and has used that experience to further his success as a project manager. Dustin enjoys hockey, camping & travelling with his wife and two sons.

Luke started part-time with Abris as a jr. project manager in the summer of 2020. Since then has transitioned into a full-time project manager after completing his business management and project management degree at SAIT in the spring of 2021. On weekends you can find Luke road & mountain cycling, camping, or hanging out with his dogs.

Azfar started with Abris in May of 2022 and will be studying project management at SAIT until April 2024! In his free time Azfar enjoys building things (of course), fitness, sports, reading, and traveling.

Shania started working with Abris in 2020 and joined the team full-time in April 2023. She completed her BBA at Mount Royal University and graduated in April 2020. Shania enjoys hockey, camping, and traveling with her family.

Parsa joined Abris as a project manager in May of 2023. He completed his master’s of engineering in project management at the University of Calgary and graduated in December 2022. With his background in civil engineering, Parsa is passionate about scheduling and project control. Parsa enjoys dancing, working out, watching TV shows, or endlessly discussing soccer events in his free time.

Ty started full-time with Abris in August of 2023 as a project manager. He completed his BBS in the spring of 2020 from Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota. He previously worked in many customer-facing roles in the hospitality industry and served as a territory sales manager for Alberta and Saskatchewan. On Weekends he likes to spend time with his friends & family, hang out outside, and play old video games.

Jordan started with Abris in November 2023 as a project Coordinator/Carpenter. Jordan was previously a subcontractor for Abris and switched after moving back to Alberta. Jordan has over 15 years of experience growing up in the construction industry. In his free time, you can find Jordan fishing, skiing, playing with his dog, or renovating his house.

Sean has led our in-house paint and coatings division since 2021 and started as a full-time project manager in 2024. He has a background in business and a degree in law, which brings a valuable perspective to the Abris team. Sean loves soccer, golf, and hanging out with his young family (Shawna, Max, and Maddy).
